How to Eat Keto at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant — The Keto Minimalist

How to follow a carnivore diet while dining at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant.

If you follow a carnivore diet you are no doubt familiar with the “rules” of carnivore. “Strict carnivore” means to eat a diet of animal products, water, and salt only. This means meats, like Gordon Ramsay’s signature filet mignon, seafood, chicken, poultry, and dairy products like heavy cream and cheeses.

Some carnivores also allow seasonings like black pepper, vinegar, herbs, and spices, or a tiny bit of plant food in sauces or garnishes.

I started following a carnivore diet in February of 2023 mainly to reduce my joint pain but I’ve had many unexpected benefits like much improved IBS and digestion, weight loss, the ability to cut my blood pressure medication in half, no food cravings, and my hair loss – and I’m a female! – (probably from too little protein) has improved dramatically.

As you might expect, your carnivore options are limited, but there are several protein items you can order:

Filet Mignon.

This is what I ordered at Hell’s Kitchen because I absolutely love a filet. It is a very generous portion (8 ounces) and it was cooked to perfection.

The Bearnaise sauce is an egg yolk-butter sauce with a little vinegar and tarragon. Other than the vinegar and tarragon it is animal-based and carnivore-friendly, so I enjoyed this tangy, rich sauce on my steak.

Just skip the roasted tomatoes.

Dry-Aged New York Strip Steak

My son (who is a chef at a BBQ restaurant) ordered the strip steak and really enjoyed it. It’s perfect for a carnivore diet.

Just skip the peppers and the red wine demi-glace, which is not made from animal products.

Crispy Skin Salmon with beluga lentils, shaved fennel salad, citrus herb buerre blanc.

Crispy salmon is definitely part of a carnivore diet, so enjoy! The

Buerre blanc is a butter, white wine sauce, usually made with a touch of lemon juice so if you don’t mind a tiny bit of wine or lemon you can enjoy it on a carnivore diet.

Skip the sauce and fennel salad for strict carnivore.

Keto Pumpkin Spice Protein Bread Recipe | Low-Carb

Published

I just finished Dr. Gabrielle Lyon’s book Forever Strong, which stresses the importance of getting enough quality protein to maintain healthy muscle and even gain muscle mass. Eating enough quality protein is especially important as we age.

A protein-forward diet can not only help with muscle, but it can balance blood sugar, increase energy, improve mental clarity, and positively affect sleep.

I enjoy lots of meat, fish, and eggs but sometimes I prefer getting my protein in the form of something that tastes like a decadent treat.

Enter this Keto Pumpkin Spice Protein Bread recipe. It mixes up quickly and smells like gingerbread while baking. It’s not overly sweet like a traditional pumpkin bread made with lots of sugar and flour, and it packs lots of protein into a delicious mini loaf.

While traditional chicken nuggets are a no-go on a keto diet, these 4-ingredient crunchy chicken nuggets are perfectly keto-friendly AND are perfect for a carnivore diet!

They use canned chicken which I personally love for chicken salad and always have on hand in my pantry. You can mix them up in just minutes and air fry them to a crisp, golden brown for an indulgent lunch or dinner.

If you follow a carnivore diet you can eat the chicken nuggets on their own, or dip in my Easy

Béarnaise Sauce.

If you eat keto or follow a low-carb way of eating, serve with ranch, pico de gallo, sugar-free barbecue sauce, pesto, or blue cheese dressing.
